A press conference featuring Joshua and Fury is scheduled for September 30, according to BBC Sport, marking the beginning of the official build-up to the bout.
The fight is being promoted as a collaboration between Saudi boxing power broker Turki Alalshikh’s The Ring and UFC president Dana White.
Alalshikh described the contest as a meeting between “two of the best heavyweights of this generation” and expressed his excitement about bringing the fight to fans.
“This will be one of the biggest fights in boxing history. I am very happy to make this fight happen for the fans,” he said.
